FIFA Soccer 10 Top Quality

This is my favorite video game for my PS3. I got it back in February 2010 and I still play it all the time. If you enjoy soccer and love hanging out with friends this is the game for you. It takes a bit of time to get the hang of it, but once you do there is no turning back.

I give FIFA 10 five stars for its fun factor and not its technical factor. As a single player you could either play online, manager mode or just plain exhibition games. But my favorite part of playing FIFA 10 is playing it with other people. We get together with friends and play either 1v1 or 2v2 and we have so much fun. In the PS3 you could even have up to seven players playing!

If you want a game you could enjoy playing on your own or with up to six more people, FIFA 10 is a must have. I can't wait for FIFA 11!

I remember being nine years old and my dad buying a SEGA Genesis for me and my brother. I remember wasting hours and hours on this console, even skipping school to stay home and play. I don't remember when my console died but it was quite some time ago, I never bought another Genesis, and playing through a PC emulator never seemed quite the same.
I took a chance and bought this, and I'm very glad that I did. Some of the games are 20 years old, and yet they have better gameplay and replayability than most modern games that I buy. Playing Streets of Rage with my nephew who has never even seen a Genesis, and having fun with it just proves that good games are timeless, and graphics are completely overrated. Speaking of graphics, you will be happy to know that this looks awesome on HDTVs despite the obvious technological time gap. The games are playing in a windowed mode, which avoids horizontal stretching, since these games were obviously not designed with HD resolutions in mind. The text in most games (haven't played them all yet) is very clear and easy to read. there appears to be no graphic problems whatsoever.

I enjoy this game but I do wish it had more hits on it or that I could easily download exactly what I wanted. Simply put, this is an okay headset. It's very comfortable, though a little tight around the ears for those with big ears like me. The mic boom is really flexible bending into just about any position. The voice quality is great, though the sound quality is a bit lacking. One of it's strongest points is the sound positioning. You can really tell where every noise is coming from in game. The dual channel adjustable audio for the chat and game sound is nifty too. My biggest complaint is the hissing noise when tons of sound isn't coming through. All right let me give a short review about this controller, and I hope it will help other buddies a little bit.

First, not every game supports controller, not only this one, but also others. If the game you are playing supports controllers. You just need to go to control option to set as you wish. BUT most of the PC games do not support controllers. In this case, you will need Xpadder, please google it.

You can set the keys on your controller based on those on your keyboard, one to one, accordingly. You can also set it shaking if you want.

I already beat Call of Duty World at War using this controller, and now I am playing The Witcher. Both of these two games do not support controllers, but it is not a big deal. By using Xpadder, its not gonna be a problem to worry about.

Another thing about Xpadder:
Like RPG, you have a lot of shortcuts on your keyboard so you can drink your potions more quickly or sth. The problem is your controller does not have enough keys to hold all of this keys on your keyboard. By using Xpadder, you can set some "Function Keys" , that's what I call it.

While setting your controller, you can save two or more keys to be used as function keys. I chose LB and RB, and then just set these two keys. Click this key in Xpadder, and then click Advanced, and then click Set Selector, and then choose Select Set 2 while held, and then go to Set 2 and set other functions. So you lose two keys to use (LB and RB), but while holding LB or RB, your controller would go to another Set so actually you would have access to more functions. Take me, now when I am holding LB, XYAB would become my shortcuts to access to potions, and RB they would become the shortcuts to change my weapon. Final Fantasy XIII Buy Now

The first thing you'll notice about this game is it's amazing presentation; the graphics are incredible (at least on the PS3 version), the in-game movies are awesome, the menus are really stunning, the battle system is quick and intuitive, etc. I've been a big fan of this franchise since FFVII was released and have played all of the FF games since then. Overall, this game is by far the best when it comes to presentation, but that's to be expected on this generation of consoles. The worlds are massive and look great. I like the battle system in this game; it is a bit different from other FF games, but it's nothing you can't pick up pretty quickly. The weapons and upgrading system is quite complex and I'm pretty sure that after 80 hours of gameplay I've only uncovered about 30% of all the available upgrades.

On a macro-level, however, this game is lacking in the biggest area for me: the story. I'm sure you've read all about how linear this game is, and it's true. This is the most linear of any FF game I've played, and that is really a downer because I think a lot of people really love being able to explore the openness of these games whenever they want to in the story, and that isn't possible until you are pretty far into the game. I just wasn't drawn into the story at all. Other disappointments for me are the eidolon/summons, the lack of mini-games (there are some, just nowhere near as fun as previous FF games), lack of depth in attacks/magic.

All in all, this game is still a lot of fun. The amazing graphics and fun battle system make up for the lack of story and character depth, at least for one play-through. I enjoyed the 90 hours I put into the game, but I doubt I'll be playing it again. If you're a fan of FF games, I highly recommend this game. If you love RPG's, be warned that this is more of an "adventure" game, not an RPG in its truest sense. Save Battlefield: Bad Company 2

BFBC2 is one of the finest war games that's ever been created next to ArmA 2 and BF2 for PC. It is an intense and realistic game. Expect cursing left and right(Don't be a wimp about it, Marines and Soldiers cure alot). The sound and graphics are top notch in 1080P and if you have a good group of friends you play shooters with and you're a team player that likes intense combat with combined arms in mind. This game is for you. If you're a lone wolf sniper that tries to get your Sniper kills go play something else, this isn't your game. Snipers 90% of the time in BFBC2 are a cancer that actually cause more trouble than they're worth.

The single player was good but the music didn't really make it seem as desperate as it was. Multiplayer is why you pay 60 bucks for this game. I got over 200 hours on this game a 2.25 w/l and 2.04 KDR.

DICE did everything right with BFBC2 but they're selling out the BFBC1 and BF2 fans for all the COD players. COD players hate vehicles, large scale maps and like corners cut for them. I worry that the future of BF games will be compromised by DICE trying to cashcow BF fans in favor of casuals. The maps for the most part were small and narrow. Even Arica Harbor and Port Valdez were almost completely bottlenecked.

You can tell they got plans for the BF franchise and if you're a diehard BFBC2 player like me, you won't like it.

Overall though, there isn't much to say, if you like good war games with intense combat, cursing, explosions, destruction and more. Buy this. Destruction does get old though. It got old for me back in BFBC1 but you realize later on how tactical the destruction is. Blow open houses, cut down trees to stop ambushes etc.

There isn't really any debate. Just buy this if you like good war games.
