Dead Rising Immediately

This game is tons of fun. There is so much to do and see and there are so many ways to kill zombies that you can spend hours entertaining yourself just doing nothing. The only problem is that it can get old after a while and eventually it just kind of feels like a grind if you try to get some of the Xbox achievements. Overall though it's fun and if you're an avid zombie killer this is totally for you.Get more detail about Dead Rising.

The game was very good. The story was great and the real time combat was real fun and intense. The only bad thing of the game was the voice overs, almost all the characters had some kind of annoying voice but besides that there was awesome.Get more detail about Star Ocean: The Last Hope.

Frontlines: Fuel of War Order Now

This game is a lot of fun. I play the campaign whenever I need to kill time. My only problem: I can kill the campaign with maybe 2-3 hours of gameplay. It isnt that long, but if you can find a way, it can be really long.

PROS:

-FUN REMOTE CONTROLLED MACHINES
This option comes out early in the campaign. You are able to control basically a surveillance/flying mine mini helicopter, a decent sized mini tank with a machine gun so big it can destroy cover in just a few shots, and a mini attack helicopter with rockets that can take down a tank with 2 volleys.

-GOOD WEAPONS
The actual weapons in the game are pretty sweet, my personal favorite is the support gunner, with a 200 round mag. The sniper rifle is pretty nice, but it takes 2 hits in the body to kill, one in the head obviously.

-VEHICLES
They don't give you a lot: Just a rapid fire, low power tank, an actual tank, and a helicopter. You can commandeer a russian tank, but thats about it. But in the multiplayer, it all opens up to a wider spectrum of vehicles.

-GAMEPLAY
The story is epic. Its also simple: The Russians and Chinese vs The U.S. and most of Europe battling for control of the oil industry.
My personal favorite mission is the Mountain King.

-TURRETS
When they do provide you with a turret or a fixed gun, its always in a good spot, or they just give you one that you can set up. In the one mission you get a set minigun and a type of Lazer that can kill a tank in 2 shots or even one if you hit it from the back.

CONS

-AI FRIENDLIES
The friendly AI are of a seriously lower power than you. It takes them 2 mags on the normal assault rifle to kill one enemy.

-LIMITED AMOUNT OF CLASSES
In the campaign ( this entire review is about the campaign) you can only use certain classes in certain missions, like in the end mission, you can only use Sniper, Anti-Vehicle and Assault, and trust me, you can really use the support class in that one.

-FAIL FRIENDLY AI SENTRIES
You at one point in the end of the game get 2 AI sentries to set up to help you. They dont even shoot half the time.
It takes them 10 seconds to realize that there is an enemy in front of them, meanwhile enemy sentries shoot as soon as you are in range ( 1 seconds recognition delay) but at least they make a great wall of metal if you are ever in a tight spot, I line them up and go prone and shoot in the gaps between them.

OVERALL

A great game to kill time with the campaign. I can't say anything about multiplayer except that your options really open up then, because your teammates actually do damage. It is also a great game to hone your FPS skills, as you are in many situations the only one fighting the enemy while others just run around and shoot blindly. Its really a game for beginner FPS players and anyone looking for a fun, easy game to just plug a couple rounds into the enemy. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the friendly AI are really bad and the limited amount of vehicles. IN CONCLUSION, it is a great game that really shows its potential in the multiplayer arena.

Guitar Hero 5 Stand Alone Software Decide Now

First of all I really love the Guitar Hero series games. This particular game ( Guitar Hero 5 ) is just another step above the rest. I can play it with my youngest kids on the beginner levels, or rock out hard with the best of them on the expert levels. It's got great songs with the opportunity to always add more songs to your play list.

Over all a great game.Get more detail about Guitar Hero 5 Stand Alone Software.

Resident Evil 5 Right now

This game is a masterpeice to me. It has some amazing graphics compared to other 360 games, the voice acting is great and the enviorment is beautiful! Even if your just running thourgh the sewers, there is something strangly calming and peacful to Me about this game, It's not scary AT ALL, but it's still wonderful. I enjoyed replaying the levels with Chris and Sheva, and just fell in love with Sheva Alomor. It's so good to see a Resident evil game that finally has an African American Woman, a gorgeous one with a awsome accent at that, and best of all, She DOESN'T die at the end of the game! Verses mode is alot of fun and Wesker's leather costum is amazing, probobly the best thing he's ever worn. I highly recommend this game.Get more detail about Resident Evil 5.

Cheapest Bayonetta

Bayonetta was a game I picked up when I was sicker than a dog. I played the demo and fell for it fast. It blow me away. There are so many moves and even how long you hold the buttons can create new and devistating combos. I beat it once and I know thier are combos I haven't even done yet! The story is kinda of strange because of the japanese overtone to the dialog but once you take control, she will not disapoint. It is a difficult game on normal, but if you want to see how good you really are than play it on normal. It will test yor skills in ways not tested before. Witch time gives you the ability to slow down time when an enemy is just about to hit you and your timing has to be perfect in order to activate it. Once its done, unleash blows and tear them to shreds. Her powers and overkills are just insane, and the scale of the boss battles can compete with god of war any day. Try it out, if you dare!!
Recently I saw a girl at the mall that looked just like her! Dangggg!!!!Get more detail about Bayonetta.

Cheap Bioshock 2

Bioshock 1 was one of the best single player gaming experience I've ever had, maybe the best.

The second starts to feel like an excuse to extend the storyline, which is hardly as shocking as the 1st.

However the world of Rapture is so intersting that I'd buy this again, and any other sequal to come out in the future.

The play itself is definately MORE fun as opposed to the lacking story (I feel bad to say "lacking story" the story is far above average, but is lacking to the perfection of the 1st game) there is more action and there is more chances to have crazy fights.

You fight big sisters and defend little sisters while they harvest each level which adds more action than the 1st ever had.

The Drill is a letdown, it runs out of gas faster than a senior citizen attempting a marathon, but is kinda fun to use.

There are better traps to use, seeing as they help when perparing to fight waves of enemies when you protect your little sister.

There is "3" endings. Really 2 and 1/2 (I don't want to spoil it) but none of the endings left me futfilled as the 1st game did. However the final fight is definately better.

MULTIPLAYER IS JUST ABOUT WORTHLESS. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME FOR MULTIPLAYER. It copies the upgrade system of Call of Duty, but is nowhere near as "balanced" or dynamic, fun, as CoD. Multiplayer is goofy afterthought if you really are interested.

Bioshock is definately a classic single player experiecnce that all gamers should enjoy. And the sequal just gives you more info to take in.Get more detail about Bioshock 2.

Where To Buy Xbox 360 Charge Base

I bought the charge base over a year ago and it has been great. The battery packs fit really well on the back of the controller (the controllers have fallen off the arm of my couch several times and the battery pack has never came off or been damaged). And since the recharge connectors are located on the back of the battery on the outside all you have to do is set the controller on the charge station and it does the rest. It charges quick and the batteries stay charged for an impressive amount of time. After a year I would estimate I get about 10-14 hours of use with each charge. So if you have 2 controllers and keep one charged while using the other you never have to worry about not having a controller ready to go. I highly recommend this product and it's easily one of the best after market gaming accessories I've ever had.Get more detail about Xbox 360 Charge Base.

Mirror's Edge

Let me begin by saying the game is fun and definately worth the eleven bucks it costs on Amazon. On easy and normal, everything that you can use to your advantage is bright red so you know where to go. The trouble is getting to those red objects and sometimes you will fall to your death many times before you figure it out. That is why Youtube helps, I had to look up a walkthrough for at least one part in each of the last half of the levels.
As you make it through the game, the levels get much more difficult to the point of being so frustrating that you do not want to play, the fighting sequences are extremely difficult and you will die alot. You can take a gun from a cop but if your timing is not perfect, he will beat you down. When you do disarm someone, it goes into an animation, and during that animation, you can still get shot. Chances are if there are alot of cops, you will die disarming one so you just have to run away instead of even attempting to fight.Get more detail about Mirror's Edge.

The Saboteur Review

If you go for the achievements, this one gets tedious and repetitive real quick. I like the main story and there are some good fights there; but, the rest of this one is more of a chore than a pleasure. To get people's respect, you have to take out thousands of Nazi installations - the catch being that there are only 5 different types of installations (spot lights, sniper towers, tanks, etc...). I've spent 80 hours planting bombs on the same type of targets over and over - have barely made a dint in the loyalty achievements. Another stupid achievement in a game with this much 'busy work' - standing around doing nothing (you get points for that)?! You will find yourself having fun but doing cookie cutter crap in a seemingly endless sprawl of Nazi installations. Eventually, you say 'this is really stupid and I hate that alarm / police siren'. Just end it!Get more detail about The Saboteur.

Brutal Legend This instant

Brutal Legend is a fantastic journey into a video game representation of the heavy metal music genre starring Jack Black and the legends of the art form in a madcap adventure that combines elements from a great many styles of gameplay to make for an unforgettable (albeit brief) gaming experience for fans of heavy metal. Newcomers to gaming might be put off by the RTS learning curve, but veterans should have no trouble adjusting to the multiple game types. Virtual explorers will have plenty of ground to cover and hidden treasures to search for and there is even multiplayer if you feel like battling you Xbox Live buddies for metal supremacy. Given the extreme brevity of the game, I'm glad I got it for only $20; but at that price it's well worth it since this is the kind of game you are going to want to play more than once. Brutal Legend opens with one of the funniest cutscenes ever. While watching this brutally sweet intro, you have the options to PG-13ify your gaming experience to bleep out the swearing and do away with the dismemberment. If you are a loser, that is.

Eddie Riggs is the best roadie in the business, but he is not pleased with today's popular metal scene. He longs for songs about vikings and album covers with demonic monsters on them and singers who shriek as if they were being dragged into the bowels of Hades. Well, he's about to get his wish. Finding himself transported to a savage land filled with demon nuns, rocker chicks, and medieval weaponry, Riggs finds is true calling when he encounters a group of human rebels waging war against the Tainted Coil race of demons. All they need is for somebody to show them the ancient power they lost. The power of METAL! Brutal Legend is really more like 5 games in one. It's a hack-and-slash action game that has Eddie wielding his two weapons (guitar and battleaxe) to mow down the baddies with cold hard steel, pyro, and of course, heavy metal thunder. He gets around the world in his highly customizable hot rod The Demon Plow (affectionately referred to as The Deuce) which he can summon anytime by busting a sweet guitar solo. These solos are activated in a Guitar Hero-like sequence of timed button-presses and serve many purposes throughout the game from uncovering relics to delivering orders to troops or slaughtering large groups of baddies (by melting their faces, see). The landscape is littered with side quests that earn you Fire Tributes (aloft lighters), which indicates favor with the Metal Gods and is used for currency to upgrade your weapons, abilities, and vehicle. Waiting to be uncovered in every corner of this epic land are chained stone beasts who will grant you power and tales of the history of the world you now inhabit if you can figure out how to release them. Plus there are bonus songs and powerful new solos to discover and unlock. Most of your time will probably be spent just cruising around smashing random hordes of demons and staring at the amazing landmarks while you search for more hidden hotness. Exploration is very important in this game.

The meat of the game's primary missions revolves around the "stage battles", where Eddie sets up a rock show war machine to run the enemies of their group Ironheade out of town. These large-scale battles are a simplified version of the classic real time strategy format, but can also incorporate the other aspects of the game for a unique experience. Flying above the battle on wings of a demon, Eddie can summon and give orders to his troops or he can get personally involved by kicking tail on foot or in The Deuce. He can also activate powerful double-team attacks with any member of his army, which is very cool. My personal favorite has to be the mosh attack, where Riggs thrusts a devil horns hand sign in the air and calls his troops to gather around while they bang their heads in unison and bowl over enemy infantry. It makes for a very cool and funny gaming moment. Brutal Legend has a lot of those. Over the course of the game, Ironheade will not only take on the Tainted Coil, but the evil forces of Lionwhyte (representing for hair metal) and the emo/goth-tinged Drowning Doom. The way these armies and their leaders are presented is extremely satirical and is a blast for music fans familiar with the countercultures they represent as they trashtalk their way through each fight.

Now all this is well and good, but what really makes the game a must is the story, the cast, and the music. Sadly, the story is short enough to easily play through in one sitting, but it is funny enough that you'll want to play it more than once and you will have to spend significant time to see everything there is to offer. The soundtrack is MUCH longer than the game and I still haven't heard all of the ONE HUNDRED AND SEVEN songs included. The music is a diverse sampling of various styles of metal featuring everyone from big names like Black Sabbath and Rob Zombie, serious death metal like King Diamond and Loki, 80's pop metal from bands like Def Leppard and The Scorpions, industrial from Ministry and KMDFM, power metal from Dragonforce and Manowar, and a hell of a lot more. Naturally, the metal gods who lent their voices to the game also lent their music and Jack Black's folk/metal band Tenacious D is on hand, of course. The way certain classic songs are used in the narrative is pretty awesome too. Now, I keep telling you about how great the characters voiced by the legends of heavy metal music are so you're probably wondering who they are. Well, do you want to lead a cadre of headbangers flanked by Lemmy and Rob Halford on choppers to smash up an emo pity party? Yeah, you do. Do you want to ride out of the underworld with a brand new batch of weapons while Ozzy shouts "Go f@#%ing CRAZY!" after you? But of course. Sadly, the late great Ronnie James Dio was stricken from the game due to a tantrum by a certain Prince of Darkness (or more likely, his wife) and his absence in this is HUGE. I'm sure Jables was devastated by this criminal omission and the fact that I played Brutal Legend mere days after his passing didn't help. Still, Dio or no, one cannot underestimate the awesomeness of battling a giant chrome spider to secure the steel webbing necessary to string Lemmy's bass so he can heal your Lita Ford-inspired ladyfriend (Ford also voices a character). That's right: Lemmy Kilmister's bass-playing heals the sick in this game. I always suspected he could do that. The story is only a few hours long, but its' packed with awesome and a surprising amount of emotion for what is essentially a spoof. The game does a masterful job of slowly introducing the various elements and it never gets particularly challenging on normal difficulty. The only way I really died is by carelessly driving off of a cliff (or ten).

My biggest complaint with Brutal Legend is that it feel as though it's just getting started when it's already over. By the time each game element is brought to bear, you are at the final confrontation and already anticipating the next big battle that will never come. This is just plain wrong. There's only one battle in the whole game where you have your entire selection of units to utilize. What the hell? On the other hand, multiplayer allows you to challenge the computer or another player to rock as many stage battles as you like as either Ironheade, the Tainted Coil, or The Drowning Doom, which is an excellent addition. However, the difficulty is ramped waaaaayyyy up on these so the clumsiness this RTS veteran showed integrating into the different aspects of the main game's stage battles did not go over well. The multiplayer AI plays to win. All in all, the only real problem with Brutal Legend is it's extreme brevity and failure to integrate the entire world into the story. If you want to see all of the great metal-themed visuals, music, and powers that the game has to offer you are going to have to spend a lot of time just driving around. The main game's stage battles are few enough that it feels like they are more of a tutorial for the multiplayer (which is NOT the reason to get this), and that's a big wrong. But still, at a discount price and with all the great music and heavy metal coolness of this game, it's still a rockin' way to kill some time.

The Orange Box Order Now

I had played Half Life and Half Life 2 before, the latter on a PC in 2006. Most of the bugs associated with the Steam content delivery system had been eliminated by then but it was still a chore to get things up & running. The desire to play HL2 on a stand-alone console system is what eventually motivated me to buy a refurbished XBox 360 (reviews seemed to indicate that HL2 on the Play Station 3 is buggier).

Well, great experience so far. HL2 plays exactly as I remembered from the PC days, no bugs whatsoever & the use of a console controller makes for effective gameplay. HL2 won a bunch of awards in part because of its atmosphere - the attention to detail is astounding & the player becomes immersed in the environment of the East European flavored City 17. You can play the game with a developer's commentary track (accessed via clicking on icons floating around in the game environment) - it's interesting to learn about some of the game design considerations & decisions. I've played the Episode 1 game as well; it seems to play longer than a one-third part of HL3. Episode 2 is on deck for me. The only kvetch I might have with HL2 is that the gameplay is very linear - it's obvious which door you should take because there's only one door, etc. The original Half Life seemed to have more situations in which you had to rationally figure out a course of action. Or perhaps I was just inexperienced in those early days of gaming...

I thought the wife might like Portal, what with its physics based puzzles and all but she's kind of ambivalent about it. There's a bit too much thinking needed in Portal for me to get all excited about it. Team Fortress 2 is a multi-player cartoonish shoot 'em up; no thanks, my Xbox is not connected to the internet and that's the way that I like it.

Dragon Age: Origins Decide Now

This was one of the best games I ever played!!! The storyline was awesome! I loved the alternate endings/stories. I loved the game play. I was a little disappointed in the graphics...BUT they made up for it with the fighting styles. I didn't have to pause the game to select a new fighting group. In the options menu I set my LT to be my fight menu. This allowed me to be able to utilize 6 different fight styles for each character without any interruptions. A lot of people weren't happy with the storyline and ending. But let me tell you that YOUR storyline and YOUR ending is created based off of the choices YOU make during the game. So let your imagination run wild! Enjoy!!Get more detail about Dragon Age: Origins.

Dark Sector Right now

This is a freaking awesome and totally underrated game. As of my writing it is listed for $8!, the game is worth far more. If you don't have it, get it. Its a fun action ride that will keep you busy through the weekend. Highly recommended.Get more detail about Dark Sector.

Low Price FIFA Soccer 10

Unless you want to take a course in frustration and anger management do not spend your money on this game.
It is an improvement over fifa 09 alright but i keep asking myself if the developers actually tested this game and how they felt if at all they did.
AI has a great deal of improvements but the overall game is very frustrating especially at higher difficulty levels, another advice if you do buy this game is do not use you expensive HD tv because you might end up smashing it if you are the emotional kind.
Now let me start with what i have experienced with this software.

1. The entire football world knows you cant make more than three substitutions in a match but in fifa 10 it just goes on and on sometimes up to six in a single match. one would think something as basic as this should be known by programmers.

2. The game seems to have two modes, fair and bias. in fair mode you can play a normal match but in the other mode when the software decides you should loose, i don't care what you do you will never win. you can create 100 goal scoring chances without a single goal scored, your shots will either come of the post or the goalie will be superman and will stop every shot pointblank or not, and by the way the opposing team will be scoring with great ease no matter what team it is, even if they are the lowest ranking team in the league and your team is number 1 on the table. they will have such accurate passes, be extremely hard if not impossible to disposses and of course the ref will be making laughable calls against your team, calling fouls against you upon every contact with your opponent no matter how little, especially if that contact creates a break for you, the programmers may as well give the ref a jersey for the other team.

Someone might want to label me as a sorry loser, but i guarantee you that i am not, i have spent a great deal of time with this game an have unlocked so many accomplishments but this is a candid description of my experience with the game. if all you do is play exibition matches then you will love fifa 10, but if you are a football lover like myself and understand how the flow and rules of the game should be then this will end up in anger and frustration for you both in manager and all other modes.
To the programmers i will say good job but you guys still have a long way to go with fair play, please work on the referee's ridiculous calls and it's not your job to decide who wins a game by rigging the programme, let our skills decide that.Get more detail about FIFA Soccer 10.

Save Red Faction Guerrilla

I'm always happy to find games that hold my imagination!! I had seen good reviews on this game and as a lover of a FPS, I had to try it. Really like it!! The only downside was the fact that there weren't as many different weapons as I would have liked, but they sure made up for it with a convoy of many vehicles to drive! I LOVED tearing down buildings with the sledgehammer and explosives - and the best part was, they buildings were designed to fall exactly as they would in reality. Buy Prince of Persia

After playing the earlier Prince of Persia games I grew somewhat tired of the game but after the release of this one it has renewed my love of the franchise once again. The game gives a nice mix of adventure, action, romance, and a nice touch of comedic wisecracks that work wonders for the gameplay and the added bonus was the voice cast for the two main characters Nolan North who voices the Prince who is an incredible actor who many I think know well from the most recent PS3 game Uncharted and Uncharted 2 as well as many other video game and t.v. shows and Kari Wahlgren as the voice of Elika who has been a great voice actress for many cartoons and anime. The animation for the characters is cell shaded which I feel brings a nice touch and the effect throughout the game are incredible as well as the acrobatics the characters do throughout the game. This is a mostly acrobatic fighting game with a lot of jumping, sliding, climbing and etc etc so if you're not into that or dislike having to do those things in the levels of the game than this game might not be for you be before you become discouraged I do recommend at least trying it out by playing the demo you might just be surprised at how much fun you have. The extras such as the bonus features an such are pretty decent and the soundtrack for the game fit it perfectly as well as the beautiful background that they made for each level of the game as you explore. Also a little notice spoiler for people while some gamers found it a little annoying for me it was very helpful as the character Elika will save you from nasty falls if you make a mistake with a jump or wall run or the like by using her magic and putting you back on solid ground instead of your character dying and having to start over at a save point or at the beginning of the chapter level..Get more detail about Prince of Persia.

But it just makes the experience of playing the second one much more worth while if you already understand the first game. Plus you get much more excited from the upgrades in the 2nd game.
Overall, this game is very very well done, and extreamly fun. I'm envious of all the new players experiencing Bioshock for the first time. Its and amazing ride, you'll love it. PLAY IT!Get more detail about BioShock.

Where To Buy Blur

My buddies and I gather around the TV and pass the controller. Races are close, action is fast and even finishing near the back of the pack can be a thrill. *Best played on Xbox Live with a Gold Account. Single player is ok but the online multiplayer has shown it has real legs.Get more detail about Blur.

Shop For Mass Effect

This game is amazing! The depth of the story and character development is great. The nice thing is that you can play this game more than once and still get a different experience each time. The leveling up is traditional rpg style which is what makes this game work so well. Truly on the best games I have ever played in my twenty years as a video game geek.Get more detail about Mass Effect.

Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga Review

The game Lego Star Wars is just what it sounds: a kid's take on the classic sci-fi series using Lego stand-ins instead of rendered people. As such, you should expect this game to be simplistic, childish and somewhat repetitive (it is, after all, listed as a family game). Once you realize this, the game is a blast.

Each of the six episodes is divided into six parts. At first the player only has access to Episode I Part 1, but once that is beat Part 1 of each of the other five episodes is unlocked. Beating Part 1 in an episode gives you access to Part 2, beating Part 2 unlocks Part 3, and so on.

Each part takes between 15 and 30 minutes to beat, on average, so you can actually accomplish something if you only have a limited amount of time. The first play-through is always in "Story" mode, where your characters are pre-selected. Beating it on "Story" mode unlocks "Free Play," where you get to choose a roster of characters. This effectively doubles the length of the game, because a lot of the bonus items are unattainable in story mode (for example, an item might be located behind a door accessible only by a stormtrooper, but story mode is played using Obi-Wan and an R2 droid). Most of the bonus items are actually pretty decent. There is also a HUGE cast of characters, about half of which unlock as you play through the game and half available for purchase, but they fall into a half-dozen or so categories, so there is not much of a learning curve. "Death" in the game consists of being penalized about 2,000 studs (the game's currency) and being almost instantly respawned, with one level excepted (see below). This makes the game much more accessible to younger players and gamers with less-than-lightning-quick reflexes.

The game also comes with a healthy dose of humor - the "I am your father" scene is PRICELESS, in my opinion. This humor is a big part of keeping the adults interested.

Now, a few cons from the game. There are a few levels where you pilot vehicles full-time. The perspective is a bit weird, the screen is quite busy, and controls handle clumsily. On top of that, the game tends to turn you around at weird points. I was actually glad when I reached the end of these levels, because they are decidedly less fun to play than the character levels. Speaking of character levels, there's a lot of places where you can fall to your death, but many of them are not obvious until you hit them. Finally, the last part of Episode III inexplicably changes the "death" mechanic from an instant respawn to a checkpoint restart (even on co-op and even if the other person is still alive). This is incredibly frustrating, as the level requires the most precise timing of the game - it involves jumping between platforms that are sinking into lava.

Those relatively minor annoyances aside, this is a fun game. Yeah, it's simplistic, but it's entertaining, and that's what video games are supposed to be.Get more detail about Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga.

Final Fantasy XIII Top Quality

I unlike many am new to the Final Fantasy franchise. i bought this game on a whim as i knew the cult following behind the FF games. I was very impressed with the gameplay and the amount of depth that the game provided. Personally it took me around 48 hours to beat the game give or take 5 hours. The graphics were stunning but the gameplay did get old and repetitive after a while. i will have to admit that the only thing that got me through to the end of the game was the time investment that i put into it. Another thing to note is that i rarely finish a game let alone put in more than 8-10 hours into it...however, i finished FF 13 so that must say something about the game and story line.

Some people complain that the game is too linear.... i personally enjoyed it as i have been biased by the previous installments. I say this is a game to buy and try it out. Give it at least 20 hours before you make any quick judgements.

Overall 4.5/5 stars for me.Get more detail about Final Fantasy XIII.

Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues Buy Now

I have a fairly extensive library of Xbox 360 games including all the LEGO games (except LEGO Rock Band). These games include the more popular titles including Gears of War, Halo, Call of Duty, Bioshock, etc, but my collection also includes a fair amount of what some people call childrens game or party games such as Viva Pinata Party Animals. I don't obsess over achievements in my games as long as I can enjoy them and finish them (not for points, just the campaigns/missions). As a matter of fact, my only games to 1000G comletion are Fusion Frenzy and Disney-Up (many other games in the 500-900 gamerscore range). The only reason to provide this background is to show that I am fairly open-minded when it comes to playing games and getting enjoyment out of it.

Having said all that, I can safely say this is about the worst game I have ever played in my 30+ years of gaming and of my 150+ Xbox 360 retail and arcade games. I'll put aside the lockups for now since that has been covered by other reviewers. My main problem with this game is the difficulty and poor design. I have used YouTube, online walkthroughs and I even have the Prima official guide and yet there are still many areas of the game I can't open, can't access, can't finish, etc. I was making a mental list of all the areas I had problems with so I could call out specifics in my review but the list got too big! One example that comes to mind is Kingdom of the Crystal Skull III. I was able to access the temple through story mode since it was a linear path but for the life of me, I can't get back to the temple to complete the missions/events Treasure Trail and Tie-Up High Up. It should not be this hard. Once you get into the missions, they are pretty easy (especially with a guide and cheats enabled) but to spend literally hours finding places is just not reasonable.

Another issue I have is the requirements to start a mission. This is not the same as the requirements to play a mission as that part is automatic. For example, let's say you have a guy with a sword unlocked but you are not in control of him. To start mission "x", you have to cut something with the sword. Where is he? Just roaming around the map somewhere.....could take a very long time just to find him in these new hubs. Because of issues similar to this, I am unable to complete the Temple of Doom and Crystal Skull III hubs. For those who have played the game, yes....I have checked where I unlocked the character I need.

Another issue is some of the levels. In particular, the balloon popping missions. Who designed these? Forest Forage is particularly brutal.

Finally, there are the achievements. As mentioned above, I don't need to get 100% or 1000 G to enjoy a game but I DO like obtaining achievements for myself. What this game does is link a lot of achievements together. For example, if I am missing one mission out of sixty-six, I would miss 25 G for the bonus level, 75 G for all the artifacts, 100 G for completing to 100% and depending on the level, anywhere from 10-40 more points for missing something i.e. a vehicle. That to me is a pretty big penalty for missing 1 of 66 missions.

I have gotten a lot of mileage out of the game so far and will continue to play for a short while longer - because parts of it are still fun. However, when I review a product, I think comparison to previously existing product is important and in that respect, this game fails miserably.Get more detail about Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues.

Just Cause 2 Order Now

Blowing stuff up and hijacking helicopters NEVER gets old. Even after the game is over there's still 75% of the environment left to explore and decimate. Some of the towns and bases are the same, but there's always surprises in the mix. I recommend it for anyone who wants a game they can play for months without getting bored. Some form of multiplayer (WOW style?) would be awesome, but it's not necessary. I would like to know how my helicopter skills match up against another player or players...but no worries, it's an awesome game.Get more detail about Just Cause 2.
