i got this headset for 1 reason. My friends all had turtle beaches, and i wanted to improve like they did. My friend joe has X1's. He can hear everything and i mean everything. So i decided for a cheaper way to hear ninja pro.
Overall, they are decent. If u have everyone muted, and are very still ( yes still ) u may be able to detect ninja pro, but take it to court. i was just playing cod mw2 search and there were 2-3 times when i felt deaf after watching the kill cam. With my buddies x1's he would have hear them a mile before. And i am constantly getting made fun of or laughed at ( in a friend way) for not being able to hear a thing.
If they dont have ninja pro on u can hear some big footsteps, but u have to (with the character) stop moving and hope u heard correctly. Sometimes i can guess where they are, but thats only happened a few time.
The Worst thing is the chat!!! Oh my goodnes. Eveytime my teammates say something i have to go to the game settings and turn down the volume to where i cant even hear footsteps, but only my teammates. I really cant suggest these to u even if ur on a budget. They make a decent music headset, but if ur only using these for music, get some dedicated music headphones. im saving my $$ to buy X11's or X31's and thats what i suggest to u too.
