I bought the charge base over a year ago and it has been great. The battery packs fit really well on the back of the controller (the controllers have fallen off the arm of my couch several times and the battery pack has never came off or been damaged). And since the recharge connectors are located on the back of the battery on the outside all you have to do is set the controller on the charge station and it does the rest. It charges quick and the batteries stay charged for an impressive amount of time. After a year I would estimate I get about 10-14 hours of use with each charge. So if you have 2 controllers and keep one charged while using the other you never have to worry about not having a controller ready to go.
